I believe that food is the biggest part of a person’s life. When we are happy, we celebrate with food; When we are sad, we eat our feelings away; When we go out with friends, it’s most likely for a meal; family get together? You can be sure that you’re in for a lot of food. Even something as simple as running errands means that we’re probably gonna grab a snack or drink a long the way.
Since food is an important part of any celebration, I decided to start this monthly blog series of National Food Holidays so that each day we can celebrate a different type of food! This is something everyone can partake in regardless of race or religion, which is just another reason to love food – it brings us together.
I’m aware that I’m almost 2 months late so I will be posting February’s calendar tomorrow. I’m also going to include a downloadable copy for each month just in case you guys want to print it out or whatever!
