So last year, I got the chance to visit Hong Kong and eat all the amazing food they had to offer! It had been on my bucket list for a while so before leaving, I made a list of things I wanted to do and places I wanted to eat at (of course)! I got the chance to try many different things like the egg tart from the well loved Tai Cheong Bakery, Yung Kee’s specialty Roast Goose and even Ebeneezer’s Shawarma which until today is the best shawarma I have ever had! Being the person that I am, I wanted to take everything home but unfortunately, I couldn’t (duh) – that is until I went to a nearby 7 Eleven to buy a bottle of water and saw a whole shelf full of Cadbury’s Marvellous Creations chocolate bars and absolutely had to buy one of each for the duration of the trip and more for when I was back home in Manila!
Cadbury has now decided to up their game and turned their Marvellous Creations into ice cream flavors! So all the magic that you experience from the chocolate bar is amplified because it is in the form of ice cream and who doesn’t love ice cream, right??
The flavor that I am most excited for is the one in the picture above. It is vanilla and chocolate ice cream with a Dairy Milk swirl, popping candy, raspberry jelly pieces and sugar coated cocoa candies and it sounds absolutely magical! Other flavors are Zingy Raspberry Choc Brownie (vanilla and chocolate ice cream, chocolate swirl, raspberry sauce, brownies and raspberry sweets) , Salted Caramel & Sour Cherry (chocolate and salted caramel ice cream, chocolate swirl, sea salted digestive biccies, whole cherries and pralines) and Fairground Candy Crunch (chocolate and candy floss ice cream, chocolate swirl, raspberry jellies, marshmallows and pink sugar crunch).
These flavors will be available by the end of March in the UK but let’s keep our fingers crossed that someone decides to bring it to MNL so we can find out exactly what magic tastes like!
